In the 12-hour clock system, the day is divided into two periods: AM (ante meridiem, meaning "before noon") and PM (post meridiem, meaning "after noon"). Each period consists of 12 hours.

O’clock/quarter/past/to/Am/pm

1. এখন দশটা বাজে------- It is 10 o’clock.
2. এখন দশটা দশ--------- It is 10 minute past 10 o’clock.
3. এখন সোয়া দশটা ------It is quarter past 10 o’clock.
4. এখন সাড়ে দশটা -------It is half past 10 o’clock.
5. এখন পৌনে এগার টা ------It is quarter to 11 o’clock.
6. এখন এগারোটা বাজতে ৫ মিনিট বাকি ------It is 5 minute to 11 o’clock
7. এখন ঠিক এগার টা-----------It is 11 o’clock on the dot.
The meeting will start at 11 o'clock sharp
AM= anti meridiem
PM= post meridiem
o’clock = of the clock
