Still – yet – already are used to talk about actions and events going on around the present, the moment of speaking.

Still is used to talk about an action or situation that has not finished.

Still এমন একটি কর্ম বা পরিস্থিতি সম্পর্কে কথা বলতে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা শেষ হয়নি।

 The baby is still asleep.

Yet

 Yet is used to talk about something which has not happened – it is expected to happen in the future.

YET এমন কিছু সম্পর্কে কথা বলতে ব্যবহৃত হয় যা ঘটেনি - এটি ভবিষ্যতে ঘটবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

 In questions yet can be used to ask whether something expected has happened.

 Yet is occasionally used in affirmative sentences. In that case it has a similar meaning to still.

Yet মাঝে মাঝে ইতিবাচক বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সেক্ষেত্রে এর অর্থ still.

 We have yet to receive that parcel. (= We are still waiting to receive that parcel.)

 Notes In British English, already and yet are commonly used with perfect tenses. In American English, past tenses are often preferred.
